VISIONARY ART

From the moment I could hold a crayon, 

I drew on any paper I could find. I loved realism! I loved images that looked just like a photo. I wondered how artists achieved such skill. I strived to make mine as "good". I wore through many erasers. White paint used as a "white out" was my friend.

Everything I saw or created, I judged as good or bad, 

based on the "meter of realism". 

I threw away so much art because it was "imperfect", 

in my own narrow viewpoint. 

This perception of value based on expectations of perfection

IS NOT GOOD.

It limits creativity and puts the art in a constrictive box.

It causes children to give up on their art or music 

as their internal voices say "I'm not good at...." 

They compare themselves to everyone else 

and don't recognize their own value. 

Who decides what is good, and what is not?

I have changed.

I still LOVE realism.

But, I have expanded my pallet of flavors. 

I judge creativity as good or bad based on what "moves me". 

I can constructively make suggestions to make something drawn, painted or created better depending upon what the parameters of what 

I enjoy full flavored art, whether that is abstract, 

realistic, photo realistic, mixed media & textured...

This perception of what is valuable is something that is programmed into our subconscious mior not, is something I have seen others do to themselves and others all the time. 

It began to reflect inner visions and less realism. 

No longer was I creating solely the outer world. 

I quickly was able to create the images pouring forth onto paper...

I now have a plethora of artwork and am considered very prolific.

From 2015 on, I continued with Energy Healing classes and am now certified and attuned as an Usui Reiki Master, Goddess Reiki Practitioner, Angelic Reiki Practitioner, Light Code Reiki "Codes of Enlightenment" Practitioner, Cranial Reiki Certified, a Level 3 Shamanic Practitioner based in the Life Force Shamanic Arts & Healing Method, and a Certified Spiritual Life Coach. 

I am sure the list will continue to grow as I grow... I go where Spirit takes me.

My artwork has become a Spiritual Tool for Inner Growth, 

Reflection and Healing...
