Life Force is a radiant chalk pastel drawing by visionary artist Lisa Nomikos, created from an inner vision after visiting Florida’s beaches and observing the graceful movements of white herons and the playful flight of seagulls.

At the forefront, a luminous white heron stands elegantly in shallow ocean water, one foot lifted and sparkling in the moonlight. Its fluffy plumage flows upward into the sky, transforming into swirling lines of energy. These spiraling currents are formed by the bodies of seagulls, not just flying but appearing to stand and move in space—creating the very structure of the portal behind them. This interplay of motion and form represents the shifting dimensions we traverse and how our perspective transforms as we pass through portals of light.
